Chicken Pox And Pregnancy More Condition_symptoms What Are The Risks Of The MMR And Chicken Pox Vaccines During Pregnancy?

What are the risks of the MMR and chicken pox vaccines during pregnancy? - chicken pox and pregnancy more condition_symptoms

If a woman gets chickenpox, and MMR vaccine before discovering she was pregnant, what are the risks for her and the unborn child? My cousin is the recently discovered later that she was pregnant. She had no side effects so far. We have an immunization record, so do not know if she had her shots as a child or not. It appears that enough data and people who are different assertions about the MMR vaccine is to make sure. Is there anyone with personal knowledge of the incidents of MMR vaccine during pregnancy?

It is recommended that a woman wait after receiving an MMR vaccine is to become pregnant. Some doctors recommend 4 weeks, while others advise waiting as long as 3 months.

What to delay vaccination against measles in the standard recommendation for women who design for 3 months after vaccination, because a theoretical risk of fetal infection after maternal immunization. There are no reports to justify the potential risk. Current measles infection is not associated with an increased risk of premature birth or miscarriage are connected, but no congenital malformations.

For mumps, the recommendation is for women to wait three months before conception of vaccination on a theoretical risk of infection of the placenta is based, report no actual infection of the placenta. Mumps vaccine is unlikely to be associated with an increased risk
no congenital anomalies that mumps infection is likely to increase even at the risk of fetal malformations. The biggest risk with mumps infection is a risk of spontaneous abortion after mumps.

For rubella have concerns about the possibility that a child develops increased congenital rubella after maternal immunization. Current data suggest that the risk of having a child with congenital malformations after immunization during pregnancy or three months before the performance is minimal. The theoretical risk is observed at about 1.7%, although no cases of congenital rubella, three months after vaccination before or after conception. So for this reason, vaccination during pregnancy or within three months before conception is resistance indicated. However, if the vaccine should not be thought of the risk of malformations to justify abortion.

) For varicella (chickenpox, if a pregnant woman is vaccinated or pregnant will be informed within 1 month after the vaccination must be on the possible effects on the fetus. Wild Chicken pox is a low risk to the fetus, and because of the virulence of the attenuated vaccine virus to less than the wild-type virus, the rISK to the fetus must be less or nonexistent.

I think the baby will be beautiful, but it still needs from their gynecologist for possible problems and check for regular monitoring of pregnancy.

Sorry, I have no personal knowledge of him, but I found the following information, some of which have a calming effect:

(1) A review of 10 years, involving more than 700 pregnant women who receive a vaccine against rubella within 3 months before or after conception (of whom 189 received the Wistar RA 27 / 3), none of the newborns had compatible with rubella, congenital anomalies;

(2) the mumps vaccine has been shown to infect the placenta and fetus, but there is no evidence that it causes birth defects in humans and

(3) reports that contracting natural measles during pregnancy, fetal an increased risk of. The highest rates of miscarriage, stillbirth and congenital malformations were observed after natural measles during pregnancy. There are no adequate studies of the attenuated strain () strain of measles during pregnancy. But it would be prudent to assume that the strain of the vaccine virus is able to cause even adverse fetal effects.

Of the three, theMeasles can be a potential danger.

According to the Network for the medicine, the recommended waiting time for pregnancy is only four weeks after vaccination.

This statement comes from the CDC:

Vaccines "The risk to the developing fetus from vaccination of the mother during pregnancy is primarily theoretical. There is no evidence of exposure to the vaccination of pregnant women with inactivated virus or bacterial vaccines or toxoids. Pose Live theoretical risk to the fetus. "Normally I do not think too much confidence in their opinions, but hey ... If it helps, the ghost of his cousin, who is a good thing.

It is worth noting that the obstetrician-gynecologist, a doctor because they can cause your monitor a little closer. I have a son, however, is evidence that screening is not always accurate. I was told that his chances with Down syndrome are born is very high, and abortion should take into consideration. He was born on time, perfectly healthy and had an Apgar score of 10!
